International youth football tournament Koblenz Germany, Rheinland Trophy.


A better location for an international youth football tournament than Koblenz in Germany is hard to find. The beautiful sport complex Oberwerth has a stadium, five pitches and a big sports hall. You play your matches only a stone’s throw away from the historical town of Koblez, where rivers Rhine and Moselle meet. Don’t you dare leaving this international tournament without having visited this beautiful town! The prize giving ceremony occurs in the stadium of TuS Koblenz, de biggest club of the town. At the end of this international youth football tournament in Koblenz in Germany, participants gained a lot of new impressions.

Facilities
The Rheinland Trophy takes place at Oberwerth, the official sports complex of Koblenz and the regional football association. This complex is located in the south of the attractive city of Koblenz on the banks of the river Rhine. Two football clubs are based here. Rot-Weiss Koblenz with their own clubhouse, canteen and changing rooms. And secondly Tus Koblenz, playing in the 3th prof division of the German Bundesliga, play their matches here in the stadium. All in all impressive surroundings for an international youth event - stadium with covered stands; 1 grass pitch; two artificial pitches and a multifunctional sportshall to serve the needs of all participants.

Remarks
Due to different deadlines set by national soccer associations in various age-categories the tournament organiser has awarded the following dispensations:
U19: teams from Switzerland, Belgium and Luxemburg: all players born on/after 1-1-92.
U19: teams from Italy: 5 players born on/after 1-1-92.
U19: teams from USA: all players born on/after 1-8-92.

All categories: teams from England and Wales: all players born on/after 1-9 of the year before.
All categories: teams from USA: all players born on/after 1-8 of the year before.
All categories: teams from Denmark: 2 players born on/after 1-10 of the year before.

Please note that metal studs are not permitted on artificial grass.
