As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions, such as: are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and is the management flexible.

Touristic information
Valkenburg (15 km from Maastricht)
Valkenburg is one of the most popular tourist resort of the Dutch province Limburg. The town offers a pleasant centre with a lot of entertainment. Special attractions are the 'Thermae 2000', a luxury thermal centre with for instance a string of swimming pools, saunas and Turkish bathes.

Sprookjesbos
The 'Sprookjesbos', an amusement park with various attractions and presentations of fairy tales and the chair lift to the Wilhelmina tower.

Maastricht
The friendly Burgundian city in the very south of the Netherlands almost seems 'foreign'. No wonder really, so close to Germany and Belgium. It's a stylish city, the main city of the slightly hilly, green province of Zuid-Limburg. This city of Roman origin on the river Meuse is seen as being one of the most sociable in the whole of the Netherlands. Maastricht is a city with something to suit all tastes: whether you love culture or history, simply sauntering around or sightseeing, shopping and evenings out: Maastricht is the place to be. The Vrijthof and the Onze Lieve Vrouweplein are the most popular spots to enjoy a snack and a drink. It's always fun here, with crowds from early morning until late in the evening. Maastricht has plenty to offer in terms of entertainment. There is no end to (music) cafes, wine bars and discos, making this city the top of the bill for evenings out. The Burgundian attitude here is reflected in the many restaurants: something to suit all tastes! A visit to St. Pietersberg caves, a few km outside the city, is not to be missed.

Program introduction
The Maastricht Girls Cup is strictly ‘girls only’; not just on the pitch but, apart from club-members of the organisers, also during the fun activities that are also part of this tournament. The tournament starts with the check-in on Thursday afternoon, after which the evening is free to relax and acclimatise. On Friday it’s time to play some football. The first preliminary matches start in the morning and the welcome ceremony will take place in the afternoon. On Friday evening it’s time to change the football shoes for dancing shoes as the Girls Cup disco will take place together with local boysteams of the organiser. In the meantime the teamleaders have their own get together with the organisers. On Saturday it will be decided which teams will take the cup home with them. Today the remaining preliminary matches, the intermediate rounds, the classification matches and of course the finals will take place. The prize-giving ceremony will be held immediately after the finals. On Saturday evening teams are free, suggestion, visit the attractive city centre of Maastricht.
