International youth football tournament Italy, Torneo Cittá della Pace.

The opening of this international youth football tournament in Italy is very spectacular. Before the enormous Peace Bell tolls one hundred times, the participants take the oath on fair play and the national anthems of all participating countries are being played. The finals are played in the local stadium 'Quercia', for which the stands are completely full up. In 2011 the tournament was organised for the twenty-fourth time; a real classic! The big and experienced organising committee make this international youth football tournament in Italy a success year after year.

Facilities
The Trofeo Città della Pace will take place on 10 different grass-pitches on various locations, up to max. 10 Km from Rovereto. The main stadium is 'Quercia' in Rovereto. Here the youngest groups will play their preliminaries. On Sunday most finals are played here as well, this because of its stand for over 2000 people which makes it an ideal stadium for everyone to watch the final matches. One other grass-pitch is situated in Rovereto, all the others are in the surrounding towns.
During the tournament different kinds of snacks and drinks will be sold in the canteen and at different stands on the sports grounds.

Price information
The starting from price includes participation in the tournament, stay and meal(s), but excludes an entry fee per team.

Remarks
Due to different deadlines, set by national soccer associations, the tournament organizer has granted dispensations for:
Category U19:
Teams from Italy 5 players born after 01.01.92.
Teams from Switzerland, Belgium and Luxemburg all players born after 01.01.92.

All age categories:
Teams from USA: all players born on/after 1/8 of the year before.
Teams from England/Wales: all players born on/after 1/9 of the year before.
Teams from Denmark: 2 players born on/after 1-10 of the year before.

Player's numbers are obligatory.

Before each match you have to fill out a players list and you have to identify the players.

Please remember metal studs are not allowed on this surface.

The Italian government and football association require - not later than 60 days before arrival - a list of participants. Example follows upon definite booking.
